About the Webinar:
Quality of healthcare services includes both provision of care and the experience of care. Care must be timely, safe, effective and evidence-based and be respectful and recognize the dignity and rights of all women, newborns and children.
The Point of Care Quality Improvement (POCQI) model has been developed by WHO-SEARO, WHO Collaborating Center for Newborns (AIIMS, New Delhi) and USAID ASSIST and is supported by UNICEF, UNFPA, USAID and WHO with the aim of demystifying quality improvement approaches in the region.
In this webinar, we will discuss the progress of quality improvement efforts in the WHO Southeast Asia region. Information on resources and support for healthcare teams in their quality improvement efforts for MNCH will also be shared.
This is a webinar in series designed to serve as a collaborative learning platform for building the momentum and capacity of healthcare teams and stakeholders in the region to improve quality of maternal and newborn healthcare.
