ISG releases a position paper on Unmanned Aerial Systems in Public Health
The Interagency Supply Chain group just released a position paper on the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) in public health.
There has been an increasing interest in the use of UASs to address public health supply chain challenges. Their use however, remains a new concept and little is known to date on how to successfully implement them as a sustainable and integrated part of the current system. For UASs to work as intended and to reach their full potential, they need to be an integrated part of the whole chain, and not simply used on an ad-hoc basis.
This position paper provides a SWOT analysis and makes recommendations on making UASs part of the supply chain.
