In Uganda: Listening to women to improve their experience of care

Since March 2017, the Ministry of Health in Uganda, in collaboration with the USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) Project has been working with 15 health facilities in the two Northern districts of Gulu and Nwoya to improve the experience of care, for mothers delivering in these facilities, as well as referrals.

Mary Atim Ladwong, a midwife in Anaka hospital, and Lilly Grace Ayamo, a clinical officer in Koch Goma Health Centre IV, tells us what steps they took to improve experience of care, and how it affected their work.
